Phuc Kien assembly hall

Phuc Kien assembly hall (address - 46 Tran Phu Street) also known Phuoc Kien assembly hall is the typical architecture in Hoi An ancient town, which was built in 1697 to worship Mazu and the gods of water, asset, children. This is also a meeting place of the Fujian living in Hoi An.

Architectural of Phuc Kien assembly hall is magnificent in a large space and sacred. The works are arranged in the order: gate - front yard - lake - bonsai - two blocks of houses in the East and West - main worship place - backyard - extra worship place.

Inside of Phuc Kien assembly hall is decorated with carved motifs sophisticated, and there are many statues, copper drum, copper bells, big incense burners, 14 paintings and many other valuable artifacts. Through the layout of worship, the assembly hall expresses the profound oriental philosophy of human happiness.

Every year, on Nguyen Tieu day (lunar January 15), Via Luc Tanh day (lunar February 16), Via Thien Hau (lunar March 23) ... Phuc Kien assembly hall will have many festivals attract a lot of domestic and foreign tourists to attend.
