Beautiful Cham Islands - Hoi An

Cham islands

Cham islands are a breathtaking cluster of granite islands, around 15km directly offshore from Cua Dai, Hoi An. You can visit as a day trip, dive or snorkel the reefs, or stay overnight.

Only the main island of Cham islands is inhabited, the other seven islands are tiny, rocky specks, covered in dense bush.

The main island is pretty and very relaxed. The beaches are nice with silky white powder sands, surrounded by coconut trees, crystal clear waters and vibrant marine life.

There is a fishing village known as Bai Lang. You’ll find its lanes are a delight to explore, and enjoy the laid back ambience and slow pace of life here.

Diving spots around the islets have earned a good rapport with experts. Dip beneath the ocean and you’ll find a rich underwater environment, with 135 species of soft and hard coral.

Cham islands set in aquamarine seas, are only accessible for about seven months of the year (March to September), as the ocean is usually too rough at other times.
