Rock climbing in Halong Bay is interesting and adventurous. Almost the climbers been rock climbing here are confirmed: this place is paradise of rock climbing on the sea, because Halong Bay owns thousands of rock islands and hundreds of climbing routes from easy to difficult.

Rock climbing on the sea is considered a most natural sport of climbing forms. Because play this sport, you don't need waistband, ropes, hooks, or mattress... just a hiking shoe, cliffs, and protection of the water. Kayak is a means to reach the climbing route. The goal of rock climbing in Halong Bay is to climb the cliffs on the sea, and jump into the water when the end of the climbing route.

- These activities are quite safe, if the climbers are good in swim and observers the falling point before the jump. However, they must calculate altitude in climbing, because if too high is also dangerous to jump into the water. Usually, altitude of rock climbing in Halong Bay is around 30 meters for training or recreation purposes. And if you want to climb higher or in the danger area, you need equipments to ensure safety.

With prominent topographic features, Halong Bay has become a favorite destination for rock climbing on the sea, and this sport is becoming popular in Vietnam.
