Danang seaside city and attractions

Danang makes a great base for day trips. Perched on the western bank of the Han River, the city is part of a long thin peninsula with 150km of seacoast.

Stroll along the Han riverfront and gleaming new modernist hotels, apartments and restaurants are emerging. And the most of coastal strip has been set aside for five-star hotel developments.

Danang is also an ancient land, closely related with the Sa Huynh cultural traditions. Many imposing, palaces, towers, temples, citadels and ramparts, the vestiges are still to be seen in Cham Museum.


Attractions in Danang

	My Khe beach My Khe is the most popular beach in Da Nang. It is a superb beach, with fine white sand and clear water. My Khe is patrolled by Da Nang Lifesaving Association and full of local life. Especially at the day’s end, when the locals flock to the shores for swimming and beach sports such as soccer and volleyball.
	Man Thai fishing village Further along the coast towards Son Tra peninsula, you’ll see Danang’s main fishing village. 	Son Tra peninsula Son Tra Peninsula like a giant shield of Danang city, also a nature reserve is protected under the regime of national parks. When stood on top of Son Tra mountain, you will admire the spectacular scenery with the green of the trees, the blue of sea and sky, blend with the yellow of sunny, white of sand, the color of the coastal rocks, and the panorama of Danang City reached the sea... all creating charming paintings.
	Cham sculpture museum Founded in 1915, Cham Museum Danang with a large collection of Cham artefacts, has nearly 500 pieces on display including Altars, Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu - all dating from the 5th to 15th centuries. The sculptures are arranged by period, which are in turn named after the geographic regions where the sculptures were found. Note the masterpiece Tra Kieu altar of the late 7th century, with carved scenes telling the story of the Asian epic Ramayana.

	Hai Van pass Hai Van Pass is one of the most spectacular mountain pass in Vietnam, with a height of about 500 meters above sea level, hanging over Truong Son mountain range reached the sea. Danang is located in the zone of typical tropical monsoon. There are two seasons:
