Chay river

- Chay river with a length of about 10 km, is derived from limestone mountains in Phong Nha Ke Bang national park. The river is calm like a silk, with blue clear water, two river banks are cornfields and tree canopy reflected in the water, dotted blooming flower beds, along with the limestone rocks in many shapes... all create a charming nature painting.

- The unique blue water of Chay river is interpreted by some researchers as follows: the limestone mountains were eroded, and created dissolved calcium from millions of years, has formed the blue waters like the gem. Not only beautiful, Chay river also contains diverse biological value with many featured aquatic species, including flower-eels and flower-flag-sardines in the Red Book of the world.


Hang Toi cave (Dark cave)

- Hang Toi cave is a branch of Phong Nha cave system, the entrance with 20m wide, 40m high. This cave is including both water cave and dry cave, with a total length of 5.258m, 80m high. Specially, the dark color in the cave is very thick, making visitors feel they can touch by hand.

- With flashlights on the head, tourists can explore inside Hang Toi cave, watching the thousands of stalactites with bizarre shapes. On the cave wall also has yellow stalactite layer, long drop from the ceiling to the floor, creating contiguity to a golden stream.
