Bat Trang located on the Red River in northern Vietnam, has been an important ceramics center for centuries. The skilled artisans of Bat Trang village have been responsible for carrying on a tradition of making pottery that has a distinctive look.

The families bring products to market pottery main purpose is to introduce traditional products to the cross, not put up factors leading business. So, this is the only ceramic market where visitors can comfortably view it or learn about the product to your liking.

The Bat Trang village provides outstanding products and it's an ideal place for watching the progress of making pottery or making terra-cotta products by yourself. In addition, you’ll have an opportunity to visit the family factories all over the village to find a special piece to take home.

You’ll see pieces being made, including bowls, dishes, pots, cups, wine jars, large vases, and big-bellied jars. Each piece is further distinguished by a glaze, such as an ancient pearl blaze, crackle glaze, dark glaze, indigo-blue flower glaze, grey flower glaze, or melt the glaze. Most impressive is watching the local hand paint their latest creations.

Visitors to play pottery, though dirty clothes, even after dark with limbs manually to their products, the opportunity to experience the traditional pottery of this period. And what fun after the ride, you can bring about a major work by your hands dedicated to your loved ones.
