Bai Truong beach - Phu Quoc island

Bai Truong Beach Phu Quoc Island

Phu Quoc's longest beach is Bai Truong (Long beach). In excess of 20 kilometres long, starting from Dinh Cau rock (Dinh Cau temple) the beach runs down Phu Quoc's south coast and its grainy yellow sands.

Aside from the very occasional fishing hamlet, Bai Truong beach is utterly deserted, except for resorts and guest houses that plug into the northern end of the beach, where you can lazily with full amenities, and enjoy the massage service on wooden chairs right on the beach offered by locals.

Bai Truong beach is lined for almost its entire length by grassy stretches and coconut palms, meaning it's easy to ride down as far as you want, pull over and go for a swim. The space here is open and fresh air, that great potential for picnics.

Late afternoon, after immerse delight in the cool water, you walk barefoot on the sand and admire romantic sunset gradually disappearing into the sea.
